David H. Barton, Esq., Managing Partner

David H. Barton is the Managing Partner and founder of the Barton Law Group, P.C. and practices in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, income taxation, elder law, probate and administration of estates, estate litigation, charitable entities and giving, asset protection, business and succession planning for closely held businesses, and guardianship.  Mr. Barton has represented clients ranging from small closely-held and family businesses to high net worth individuals with assets approaching a quarter of a billion dollars.      

Mr. Barton is admitted to practice in the States of New York and Connecticut.  He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.  Mr. Barton has lectured extensively on trusts and estates issues and is frequently called upon by financial planners, advisors and banking executives to consult on complex estate and tax issues.      

Mr. Barton graduated with honors from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.  Prior to attending Law School, Mr. Barton earned both a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Hydrogeology and Water Resources followed by a distinguished career as a Hydrogeologist and Hydrogeological Modeler.  To this day Mr. Barton still maintains his Professional Geologists Licenses, keeping current and active in the environmental field.

 

Arthur J. Conte, Esq., Associate Attorney

Arthur J. Conte is an Associate Attorney with the Barton Law Group, P.C., and practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, income taxation, elder law, probate and administration of estates, estate litigation, charitable entities and giving, asset protection, business and succession planning for closely held businesses, and guardianship.  Mr. Conte joined the firm in July of 2015.

Mr. Conte is admitted to practice in the State of New York, is a member of the New York State Bar Association, as well as the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations.  

Mr. Conte graduated with honors from Touro College Jacob D. Fuschberg Law Center in 2014.  During his time there, he worked in the Elder Law Clinic, assisting the clinic’s clients with varying elder law legal issues.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Conte attended Loyola University Maryland and graduated with a Bachelors in both Political Science and Philosophy in 2011.
